A Pondering Robot - Master thesis

A study on how the robot Pepper can use if its limbs to convey to users that it is 'thinking' or processing information. Through conducting semi-structured interviews with two proffessional mimes I learned about how to convey signals using only body language.

After compiling the ideas and suggestions from the interviews I then designed and implemented gestures for indicating loading. To evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation, I conducted an in-the-wild study and evaluated the results throguh A/B testing.
